Light:

Good bright light is a compulsory requirement for a healthy scandens plant. You’ll need to avoid really hot direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorching, but never provide low light conditions for long periods otherwise the leaf markings will fade.

Water:

Another very important scandens care instruction is watering. Too little will make leaves fall and too much will cause a similar effect. You need the knack to get the balance right.

Scandens thrives in bright indirect light but adapts well to medium-light rooms. Bright conditions encourage fuller growth and larger leaves.

Water when the top few centimeters of soil feel dry. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet to prevent root issues.

Feed monthly during spring and summer using a balanced houseplant fertilizer. Consistent nutrition supports lush trailing vines.

Pinching the vine tips occasionally encourages branching and creates a fuller, more attractive plant rather than long sparse stems.

Scandans is a hanging plant, control it's down height by trimming to reach your desired tall.
