While pothos does well in a variety of light conditions and can even tolerate low light, moderate indoor light is ideal.

Wherever you decide to display your pothos, just be sure to avoid direct sunlight.

 

Water:

Keep soil moist, but be careful not to overwater it. Pothos do best when their soil is allowed to dry out between waterings. To achieve this watering technique allow only the top 10 cm depth to dry and then water it.

Do not allow your pothos to stand in water unless it is a cutting started in water.

Plant Care Guide

Pothos enjoys bright indirect light and can tolerate medium-light conditions. Better lighting encourages larger leaves and stronger growth.

Water when the upper layer of soil becomes dry. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet, especially around the support pole.

Feed biweekly during spring and summer with a balanced NPK fertilizer. This encourages fuller vines and healthier foliage.

Keep the moss pole slightly moist when possible. Aerial roots will attach to it, helping the plant produce larger and more mature leaves.
