Light:

This cactus prefers good light conditions but can tolerate poor lighting inside homes, you should choose a place beside a window inside your house.

Water:

Cactus needs a low amount of water, it exhaust if you water them like any kind of other plants. you should let it get thirsty for some days, so water it every 5 days with a little bit of water in the summer and every 2 weeks with a little bit in winter.

Plant Care Guide

Moon Cactus enjoys bright light with a few hours of gentle direct sun. Excessively strong afternoon sun may fade the colorful top portion. Put it indoor beside a window to let a bright light do it's magic.

Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water deeply but infrequently. Reduce watering during winter.

Use a diluted NPK fertilizer once every month during the growing season. Avoid excessive feeding.

The colorful top section cannot survive on its own and depends on the green rootstock. Protect both parts from rot by avoiding overwatering.
