Gardenia is a perennial aromatic plant that fits very well on a sunny balcony.

Sunny plant, at least 4-6 hours/ day.

Moderate watering when the soil gets dry.

It comes in a dark red pot – 25 cm – with a 60-80 cm plant height.

Growing conditions:

Light:

Put Gardenia in a location that offers full sun to partial shade. Avoid putting it in a dark place or indoors.

Water:

The watering of your Gardenia must never be neglected. Apply water before the soil appears dry — never allow the soil to become completely dry. In the winter, water it when you are sure that the soil is dry (Any further watering will cause water harm to the plant).

Fertilizing:

Be sure to fertilize Gardenia weekly to enhance and boost the flowering production, use a flowering fertilizer that contains a high ratio of potassium and iron fertilizer alternately. You should follow the usage instruction regarding the fertilizer dose.

Gardenias thrive in bright light with some gentle morning sun. Strong indoor light helps support healthy growth and flower production. Insufficient light often results in poor blooming.

Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy. Gardenias are sensitive to drying out completely. Regular moisture helps prevent flower buds from dropping.

Gardenia a big iron consumer during the flowering season + NPK fertilizer. Feeding regularly every week encourages lush foliage and abundant blooms. Find them on tools category.

Gardenias love humidity. If buds drop before opening, low humidity or sudden temperature changes are often the cause rather than watering problems.

Gardenia needs to be sprayed by insecticides preventively every 2 weeks to keep it safe from insects attacks.
