Flapjack loves bright sunlight and develops beautiful red edges when exposed to several hours of direct sun. Lower light keeps the leaves greener and reduces their vibrant coloring.

Allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. Like most succulents, it stores water in its thick leaves and dislikes constantly moist soil.

Feed lightly once every month during spring and summer with a succulent fertilizer. Avoid excessive feeding.

The striking red leaf margins become more intense during cool weather and bright sunlight. This color change is completely natural and a sign of a happy plant.
