Low light will be tolerated but like all houseplants, it needs bright indirect sunlight. Some sun will be helpful, but harsh sunshine will scorch the leaves.

Water:

Underwatering the dracena is better than overwatering. Water well then wait until the surface of the soil has dried out, at which point water well again. Limit the amount of water given when light or temperature levels are low simply because in those conditions plants don’t need as much water.

Dracaena Santa Rosa thrives in bright indirect light and adapts well to indoor conditions. However, more darkness cause weak thin stems. Strong direct sun may burn the foliage.

Allow the top portion of soil to dry before watering again. Dracaenas generally prefer slightly dry soil over excessive moisture.

Feed once a month during active growth. Moderate feeding supports healthy foliage without encouraging weak growth.

This plant is sensitive to fluoride and salts commonly found in tap water. Filtered or rested water often prevents brown leaf tips.
