Water them well but do not allow the plants to become too soggy, which can lead to root rot. In fact, spider plants prefer to dry out some between waterings.

Spider Plants thrive in bright indirect light but adapt well to lower-light conditions. Bright locations encourage stronger variegation and more plantlets.

Water when the top few centimeters of soil become dry. Avoid allowing the plant to sit in standing water.

Feed monthly during spring and summer. Moderate feeding supports healthy growth and baby plant production.

The long runners can produce dozens of baby plants. These plantlets can be rooted easily while still attached to the parent plant.
