Rosemary loves sunshine and performs best with at least 6 hours of direct light daily. Indirect sunlight will slow the plant growth and reduce the aromatic by time.

Allow the soil to partially dry between waterings. Rosemary dislikes constantly wet roots and prefers excellent drainage.

Feed lightly during spring and summer. Excess fertilizer may reduce the strength of its fragrance. Feed monthly with balanced NPK fertilizer.

Prune regularly, even if the plant looks fine — light, frequent trimming encourages bushier growth and better airflow through the plant, which helps prevent fungal issues in humid conditions.
